Resurrect- beauty of new life

Inspired by the interiors of Kloster Catherdral in Germany, the collection celebrates the beauty of its amazing architecture, attractive frescos, marble and gilded gold walls. While it may appear domed and artificially lit, it is a hand trick as the light radiates inwards from several windows concealed behind a ledge, and the ceiling is in fact completely flat.

The church interiors inspire you to rejoice the beauty in life, feel regal and to appreciate the gift of living.

The baroque elements stand out in white carvings back-lit with paintings and murals in beautiful tones of copper, gold, maroon and crimson. Olive and ochre are two colors that caught my eye from within the underlayers.

The paintings in the ceiling are a high point of baroque style. We see the Trinity crowning the Virgin Mary as mother of the Church, and leading a procession of the faithful departed into the aspect of God.

In the entrance hall, we find symbolic representations of the Four Last Things (death, judgement, heaven and hell) and the four season which remind us of the passing of all things Earthly.

The main body of the church consists of an oval space interrupted by four large niches.

Angels are frequently depicted throughout the church, as in 1686 the monastery became part of the Bavarian Benedictine Congregation of the Holy Guardian Angels.

In this church, the mystical theology of St. Dionysius Areopagita with its main principles of purification, enlightenment, and unification, has found a powerful artistic representation.

THE COLLECTION
RESURRECT celebrates womanhood where romanticism and baroque elements are interpreted into the collection of swimdesses and evening gowns.
Angels depicted in the cathedral and the white arches in baroque carvings portray shades of white highlighted with floral embroidery and lacework. The pearl palette merges into shades of gold and copper with olive and ochre colors taken from the church frescos. These are depicted with intricate beadwork and sequins ending the collection in the palette of maroons and crimsons.

The entire collection celebrates femininity with alot of floral depictions in the collection in terms of threadwork, prints, digital printing and lacework. The collection also shares hints of transparency with fabric interplay by lace, tulle, georgettes, organzas and chiffons.
