The 2011 Mirchi Music Awards on Saturday, 18th August, 2012 was a grand gala event in Hyderabad. While SS Thaman won the album of the year award for ‘Dookudu’, music director Koti was honoured with Life Time Achievement Award. K Raghavendra Rao, Allu Aravind, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh presented the prestigious award to Koti.

Other prominent guests who graced the glitzy event were Sekhar Kammula, Mani Sharma, R P Patnaik, Ramana Gogula, D Suresh Babu, S A Raj Kumar, Raghu Kunche, Anirudh, Sivamani, Usha Uttup, Khushboo, Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna and others.
