Miss South India 2015, Hyderabad

The 12th edition of Miss South India will be held at Marriot Hotel & Convention Centre, Hyderabad today.ThePageant aims to discover the freedom of expression and talent of the women of India. This edition of the pageant will bring together the youth of South India reflecting the culture & tradition of Indian in its truest colour and showcase South India in its entiresplendoi. it's exciting blend of culture, tourist destinations and natural beauty to the entire world.

The Miss South India pageant is conceived and executed by Pegasus event Makers. Pegasus was established in the year 2000 as a proprietary firm. Initially the firm was into the event management alone. The idea of conducting beauty pageant under the title Miss South India was conceived in the year 2002 and the said title was crowned for the very first time in the same year.
As a part of our CSR, we are associated with Lions Clubs International Dist 316C in Hyderabad for ihe first time for a noble cause. The funds so raised will be utilized to support Lions Clubs International Foundation and Charitable Lions Permanent Projects.

The final event of the pageant consists of three and a half hour program with three sequences and cultural extravaganzas and will be directed by Ajit Ravi Pegasus. 17 contestants Alieena Catherin Amon, AnuTressa George, FaheemaFathima, Gayathri Suresh, Hanisha K, Hannah RejiKoshy, Khushboo K V, Meenu Krishnan, NamithaAradhya, Nasreen Sultana Mazhar, NehaShetty, Rachel David, RishikaNaik, SnehalSanthoshKarkera, Srinidhi R Shetty, SruthyMadhavan, TinaMangwanifrom South India will walk the ramp for the grand finale.

The Event would be judged by renowned personalities from the different walks of life. Mr. Geeta Krishna, Famous Director, Dr. AjmalAmeer, Actor & Model, Ms. Ambika, Actress, Ms. Deepika Subramanian, Miss Queen of India, Ms. NikithaNarayan, Actress & Mr. SajimonParayil, Designer, Actor & model would judge the finale.

The grooming sessions prior to the finale was held at Beaumonde the Fern, Cochin, Kerala. These sessions consisted of yoga, meditation, personality development, catwalk, beauty tips, Photo shoot, Interaction, Talent search, etc. This helped the contestants to enhance their strengths and overcome their weaknesses. Grooming section was completely focused on the culture and tradition of South India.The girls were groomed by an expert panel of fashion choreographers and trainers -Mr. Sameer Khan of Elite Model Flattt; Ms. Valentina Ravi of Valen’s Model Management, Promitha Banerjee, NuthanManohar and JebithaAjit, MD, Pegasus.

The winners will be getting a gold plated crown designed by Mr.& Mrs. Prakashan Parakkat. The title winner will win a Lakh rupee sponsored by Manappuram Group, the first runner up withRs.50,000/- sponsored by RitiJewellery and second runner up with Rs.30,000/- sponsored by Manappuram Travels. The winners would also get a works contract from Pegasus worth Rs. 20, 000/-. All the sub title winners will be given with gifts.

Apart from the title winners, the other regional titles to win are Miss Queen Andhra, Miss Queen Karnataka, Miss Queen Kerala, Miss Queen Telangana and Miss Tamil Nadu & the subtitles to win are Miss Beautiful Hair, Miss Beautiful Smile, Miss Beautiful Skin, Miss Beautiful Face, Miss Beautiful Eyes, Miss Congeniality, Miss Personality, Miss Cat Walk, Miss Perfect 10, Miss Talent, Miss Viewer's choice and Miss Photogenic. The three sequences include the designer saree round, Gown and Black & black. The subtitles will be judged by a panel of experts - Mr. RejiBhaskar, leading fashion photographer, Ms. DeepaKartha, dancer & Choreographer, Mr. Elizabeth Chacko, MD, Kalpana’s International, Mr. Ajit Ravi, Chairman of Pegasus, Dr. Thomas Nechupadam& Ms. Lakshmi N Vishwanathan, Famous dancer.
