5th Edition of PharmaLytica 2018 at HITEX

UBM India, the organisers of CPhI / P-MEC India, the leading global pharma trade show and conference, today hosted the 5th edition of PharmaLytica 2018 in Hyderabad at the HITEX Exhibition Center. Looking ahead, from 2019, the expo is set to grow and further expand its reach into the Western region with its strong pharma market by hosting PharmaLytica for the first time in Mumbai. While targeting the South-West market with sectors such as Lab & Analytical, Pharma Machinery & Packaging, PharmaLytica will also launch API and Excipients zone to continue its pre-eminence in this region. This will enhance the exhibition profile as a one stop shop for all end-to-end Pharma solutions under one roof.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Uday Bhaskar Reddy, Director General, Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council (PHARMEXCIL) said, “In FY 2017-18, Indian Pharma exports grew to USD 17.26 billion. One of the key development to notice is, despite 8% negative growth witnessed in the US market, we still grew positive by 2.92%. There are potential markets to explore like China, South Africa and CIS markets and even if negative growth continues in the US market, the Indian Pharma companies should be confident and focus on growth and explore opportunities in the potential markets”.

A series of insightful sessions and panel discussions convened by industry experts are being organized to discuss the trending subjects in Quality Assurance, Technology, Quality Culture and Regulatory & Compliance Standards in the Pharmaceutical Sector. The conference focuses on the growth phase, challenges and how the industry can again truly distinguish itself in the global pharma industry in the years to come.
