LR 'n' Play is a digital parenting App/ Platform. In an e-age parenting, today's parents are worried what their sons are downloading and daughters uploading. Parenting is difficult and kids know more than parents. This platform can help get that back in control. The product ensures safety of the child online, they will be motivated to study at their convenience and rewarded for better learning. Overall it makes learing a pleasurable activity.

Both Kiran and Shilpa came up with the idea in 2017 and founded the startup. Today it has 25resources working on the platformwith an seed investment of INR 2 crore

'Our idea and product addresses the real problems in relation to the internet which majority of the parents are facing currently. We started in 2017, this initiative was to bring 3-in-l solution to the parnts' concerns regarding excessive internet usage by children'informed Kiran Reddy, a third generation entrepreneur who returned to India after his stint in a management position in the USA to start the most desired project of his life. . The overuse of gadgets and gizmos by kids had always bogged him. He thus always wanted to do something in this area. Therefore he came up with a unique combination of 'ParentalControl + Learning + Rewards in the shape of Lr'n'Play' making it the first of its kind in India

Shilpa Rao, a parent/entrepreneur and Kiran share the same vision. She left banking job after six years' stint to .do something different and founded V-Pact, a job portal for gainful employment exclusively for women 'Internet is both a boon and a bane. It is all depends on how it is used', she says. 'Whether we like or not we have to live with it', says she.

'Guide your children to use the Internet and social media responsibly, keep them safe online and prepare them to thrive in the digital world of tomorrow . Apps are the front end to the digital future. Apps economy is emerging. With the arrival of the post-PC era, apps - not infrastructure - are taking the lead. We have chosen this areas very carefully as our project',informed both the founders of LR 'n'Play.

When we were seriously considering our ventures, we felt that there are Apps. Apps, Apps...they are everywhere. It is said 91% of adults have their mobile device within arms reach 24/7. Apps means having information at your finger tips. So why can't we develop a product on the basis of the power of Mobile. App economy is going to thrive in future. Today people are spending nearly 40 per cent of their internet time on mobile devices and it is going to go up, added Kiran and Shilpa Rao.

The world has changed with cell phones and computers, putting more demands on parenting. It has also becoming challenging to protect kids from unwanted exposure online.

Our children grow up surrounded by technology. Households are full of devices connected to the internet — some are shared, while others are personal. For our children, technology is a normal part of their everyday lives. They switch between devices, applications, and media throughout the day without even noticing. New apps and technology trends continuously influence their behavior and the ways in which they think. For them, there is no separation between "life" and "digital life". As parents, .we have the choice to either ignore this truth or embrace it.
