Glendale Academy International, Hyderabad today inaugurated its bi-annual science exhibition, FUTURE QUEST 2017. Inaugurated by Dr.Sujatha Ghosh, Senior Scientist, ISRO & Ms. Anjum Babukhan, Director-Education, Glendale Academy, the 2-day science expo will be held at the school campus.
Students in two categories – Junior (Class VI – VIII) & Senior (Class IX – XI) will unleash their imaginations and present an inspiring demonstration of more than 200 working models at the science expo. The models corresponding to the theme of the science expo include miniature prototypes of Indian Green Building Concept, Launch Vehicles, Models on Renewal Energy Sources, Organic Science and Mathematics, Psychology and Sustaining the Earth for Future and many more. Demonstration of the functioning of Multimedia equipment to help people with special needs on roads would be part of the exhibition as well.
The Event initiated with Skits & Dance Performance- Skits on "Nukkad Natak"- A Street Play on Swacch Bharat, Skit on Technology & Science-A Humorous Take- took the audience on a ride on a futuristic presentation on Technology.
The Chief Guest Dr. Sujatha Ghosh, Senior Scientist, ISRO was mesmerized by the students creativity some of the products she was delighted to see were Smart Helmet- A helmet which sense presence of Gases in the Mines and alerts the Miners, Futuristic Humonoid- A Robot developed by Students, A Skirt from the waste- Dresses made by the students of Glendale Academy.
Speaking On the Occasion Anjum Babu Khan- Director-Education, Glendale Academy “The aim of the exhibition is to educate and prepare students for the future. The expo provides an interactive platform to students to demonstrate their talent and exchange innovative ideas in the fields of health, education, communication and transportation.”, said the school spokesperson.
The expo will surely give the visitors a glimpse of how children sow a thought and reap an action. The spirit of the students and their creativity will surely leave the visitors & parents impressed.
