Kolor Champ 2016 - 4th Regional Creative Art Competition at Manjeera Mall, Hyderabad

Hyderabad hosted 'KOLOR CHAMP 2016' Global Art's 4th Regional Competition

300+ contestants from Hyderabad and Secunderabad displayed their creativity in the art competition.

Hyderabad, November 27th, 2016: Globalart India organized the 4th Regional Competition 'KOLOR CHAMP '16' here in city at Manjeera Mall in Kukatpally on Sunday, the 27th of November, 2016. 300 plus children between the ages of 5 to 15 years from across the country participated in the event and exhibited their painting skills.

Ms. Srilata Lajwanthi Vice-Principal of Global Indian International School, Uppal was the Chief Guest and inaugurated the same.
The theme of the competition was announced on the spot

The winners were given away prizes in a concluding function held in the evening. Mrs. Padmajyothi Turaga, Principal, Delhi Public School, Nadergul, Hyderabad was the chief guest and gave away prizes.

Launched in India by SIP Academy India in 2005, the Global Art program is a one-of-its-kind international creative art programme for children (5 -15 years).

Today Globalart has a presence in 7 states with over 130 centres and has benefitted over 45,000 children.

The programme has been developed by Globalart, Malaysia and is being currently run in 15 countries and trained almost 2,50,000 children across the world. Global Art is a complete, systematic and efficient art programme aimed to develop the creative and artistic potential of children. The thoroughly researched and structured syllabus aims to provide children with formal yet child friendly art training using creative challenges. The Globalart programme has been endorsed by LeFranc & Bourgeois, France & Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Malaysia.

The program has National & International Recognition. The W.W.F. uploaded the creatives of Global Art children on their website for the 'Save the Tiger' Campaign and for 'Climate Change' campaign. Global Art Children's creatives were displayed at the 2nd World Ministerial Conference with delegates from 13 Tiger range countries at Bali Indonesia in 2010. W.W.F Indonesia warded certificates of appreciation to Global Art as well the students whose creatives were displayed. Special postcards featuring Global Art students' works with appreciation messages to Tiger Rangers had been released by W.W.F. in 2012.

It holds Limca Book of Records certification for conducting the 1st International 'Kolor Champ' in India. Certification for Art competition with participants from most countries on Nov 27th, 2010 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre, Hyderabad, wherein 584 children participated. The children were from 7 countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, USA and India). The theme for the Competition theme was 'One World.'
