Senior and sincere journalist Pasupuleti Ramarao has written a book called ‘Venditera Aruna Kiranam T Krishna’ on revolutionary films director T Krishna. The book was released at a grand event held at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad on Friday, November 18. Director Dasari Narayana Rao graced the event as chief guest and launched the book. T Krishna’s son Gopichad has received the first copy from Dasari Narayana Rao. Actor Suman, Narayana Murthy, Gopichand, close friends and associates of late T Krishna and some others were present at the function.

On this occasion, Dasari Narayana Rao said, “I felt very happy when I heard that Pasupuleti Ramarao is penning a book on T Krishna. He writes book not to make profits. His intention is to take the Telugu cinema history to the people. Pasuuleti Ramarao has good ideas like T Krishna. Some people discusses about only prominent directors, producers and heroes and leaves about other people. Every person will have their own way and importance. T Krishna has earned good name in our generation as new generation director with innovative ideas. The director should be honest to make films which depicts facts in the society. T Krishna is an honest person and that’s why he made six wonderful films. I was very saddened that only 11 people were present at the condolence meet when T Krishna was dead. I got emotional and tears rolled down my cheeks at that time. He deserves special place in the history of Telugu cinema. He had good fan following in those days. NTR, SVR and Ghantasala were introduced to the film industry by Krishnaveni garu. But, most people don’t know these facts. I have been penning a book on the cine history since three and half years. It takes still one and half years. The book depicts many facts. I had strong relation with T Krishna. He felt very happy when I asked him to direct ‘Orey Rickshaw’, but due to his ill health he was unable to make it. I appreciate Pasupuleti Ramarao for penning a book on such a great person.”

Speaking on the occasion, actor Suman said, “When I was doing commercial films, T Krishna garu made me to act in ‘Neti Bharatam’. My role in that film stood as an inspiration to many people. Krishna garu is a simple person with hardworking nature. My heartfelt congratulations to Pasupuleti Ramarao for penning a book on such a great person.”

Addressing the gathering, Kota Srinivasa Rao said, “My cine career was started with the film ‘Vandemataram’. T Krishna garu has given me the opportunity to work for ‘Prathighatana’. The film was released on October 10, 1985. It earned good name to me. I congratulate Pasupuleti Ramarao for having written a book on great person.”

T Krishna’s son Gopichand said, “I don’t know much about my father as I was 9 years old when he was died. I am feeling proud when everyone is saying about my father. I consider myself lucky that I was born to such a great person. He stood as an inspiration to many new directors. He was a good actor as well. He played a role in R Narayana Murthy’s ‘Arthratri Swatantryam’. I have saved the scene in my mobile. The book ‘Venditera Aruna Kiranam T Krishna’ is very precious to me. Its value can’t be determined. My sincere thanks to Pasupuleti Ramarao garu.”

On this occasion, Senior and sincere journalist Pasupuleti Ramarao said, “I had strong relation with T Krishna garu. The words in the book ‘Venditera Aruna Kiranam T Krishna’ have come from deep inside my heart.
