Anchal Singh inaugurates Pochampally IKAT Art Mela, Hyderabad
Much to the delight of the fashion connoisseurs, 'Pochampally IKAT art Mela 2016' a 8 day Handloom Products exhibition begins at Y.M.C.A Hall, Narayanaguda. The Mela organized by Pochampally Handloom Park, It will be on till 19st September 2016.
Actress Anchal Singh inaugurated the Mela by lighting the traditional lamp. "It's glad to see various apparel, particularly designer Fabrics, silk and cotton sarees, to be showcased for the Fashion Connoisseurs" said Actress Anchal Singh.
"Platforms such as this are required to reach out women looking for well-designed handmade cotton, silk wear & exclusive home textile" she added.
"Handlooms are part of an age old Indian tradition- element of Indian culture and rich artistry. By promoting handlooms, we support the artisans and local community who have been passing on their skills for generations.
