In the patchy drizzle, the plantation of saplings taken off to a colourful start in Hyderabad today. Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Amala, Lakshmi Manchu, Allu Arjun and his wife, Rana Daggubati, Regina, Rakul Preet Singh and some other Tollywood celebrities have taken part in ‘Haritha Hararam’ drive launched by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday in Nalgonda district. The stars planted saplings at different places in Hyderabad. We all know that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao launched ‘Haritha Hararam’ drive to increase forest cover. He opined that the drought in Telangana State is because of the destruction of forests and he declared that the only solution to the problem is restoration of ecological balance and started the drive to plant saplings in Telangana State. Chiranjeevi, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, Regina, Rakul Preet Singh and some other Tollywood celebrities planted the saplings at different places in Hyderabad and also invited all their followers through Twitter to join the program.
