Avasarala Srinivas’s ‘Babu Baga Busy’ pre-release function has happened in Hyderabad on Wednesday i.e. on April 27. The film is going to be released on May 5 in a grand level. ‘Babu Baga Busy’, the official remake of Hindi film ‘Hunterrr’, is loaded with full dose of comedy. The film that features Mishti Chakraborty, Tejaswi Madivada, Supriya Isola and Srimukhi, is being produced by Abhishek Nama on Abhishek Pictures banner. Naveen Medaram is making his debut as director through this adult comedy film. Phantom Films banner, which produced Hindi version, is taking the partnership for Telugu remake.
Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Kashyap said, “Songs have got tremendous response. Director Naveen Medaram has moulded the film wonderfully. Abhishek garu is a nice producer and I would like to work with him again and again. Avasarala Srinivas is a good actor. He will sure impress audience with his performance in ‘Babu Baga Busy’.”
Heroine Srimukhi said, “As I was busy with TV programs, I was unable to take part in promotional activities till now. Naveen garu is the main reason for why I became part of the film ‘Babu Baga Busy’. We both hails from Nizamabad. I watched Hindi film ‘Hunterrr’. I played a very small character in the film. Earlier I have worked with Avasarala Srinivas garu for ‘Gentleman’. Hats-off to him for taking such a risky script. Supriya played a bold character. I wish the film will earn fame to Abhishek garu.”
Tanikella Bharani wished all the best for the success of the film.
Addressing the gathering, Supriya Aysola said, “I wondered when I learned that ‘Hindi film ‘Hunterrr’ is being remade in Telugu. When I asked the director that my role would be same as in the Hindi films, he replied ‘yes’. I liked his honesty and immediately accepted to act in this. I feel so lucky to be working with great artists. Avasarala Srinivas garu has taken a huge step. I wish ‘Babu Baga Busy’ will stand out as a best film in his career.”
Addressing the gathering, director Naveen Medaram said, “One must have guts to make such kind of film in Tollywood. ‘Babu Baga Busy’ is my first film. Abhishek Nama garu is the main reason for taking up this script. The film will have much material than you expect. No other actor struck in my mind other than Avasarala Srinivas garu. He too like the film and accepted to act in this. You will see no vulgarity in the film. Mishti Chakraborty, Tejaswi Madivada, Supriya Isola and Srimukhi have given wonderful performance. The film is true-to-life. Sunil Kashyap has good grip on classical music. There are 10 songs in the film. Each and every song in the film will be very beautiful. Except one song, all songs were penned by Karunakar Adigarla. Suddala Ashok Teja garu has penned one song. Suresh Bhargava, who has 15 years working experience at Balu Mahendra garu, has presented each and every scene beautifully. Each and everyone in the team has given lot of support.”
On this occasion, Avasarala Srinivas said, “I was asked by many about why have chosen such kind of script. You will get to know the reason after watching the film. After completing my engineering course, I started masters in social psychology and discontinued. But I love studying people. ‘Babu Baga Busy’ will have psychology content. My character is very interesting and that is why I have accepted. Director and producers have made the film without compromising in any aspect. Mishti Chakraborty, Tejaswi Madivada, Supriya Isola and Srimukhi have given wonderful performance. Sunil garu has given wonderful music. Teaser and trailer have got tremendous response. I am thankful to everyone who supported me.”
