Gaayakudu Audio Release

Audio launch of ‘Gayakudu’ was a star studded affair held on Saturday night i.e. on October 4th in Hyderabad. Koti’s son Roshan Saloori made his debut as music director through this film. World’s most prominent and prolific film composer AR Rahman launched the audio by presenting the first CD to SP Balasubrahmaniyam. Harris Jairaj, Mani Sarma, Mickey J Meyer, Thaman, Devi Sri Prasad, Anoop Rubens, RP Patnaik, KM Radha Krishna to name a few have graced the event. Kamalakar is the director and Ravindranath is producing the film under Dheeru Films banner with Lakshmi as presenter.

Wishing Roshan, AR Rahman said, “I lost my father when I was a kid and we don’t have men in our family. Raj and Koti are like my brothers. All my fun filled moments which I spent in my life were with them. I have learned some music from them. Rajeswararao composes classical music very well. My master Pardhasaradhi used to say that always we have to aim high. And this applies to Roshan even. I wish Roshan should shine.”

Devi Sri Prasad said, “During my childhood I used to visit SP Kodandapani Studio frequently. Rajkoti used to do recording work there. Koti sir has given me the first opportunity to play Mandolin in films and he has also given me the first chance to sing a song. Meanwhile, I did recording work for my first album at the same studio. And now, Koti’s son Roshan is entering into the film industry as a music director. I wish him a glorious future.”

Speaking at the audio launch function, Thaman said, “I learned a lot from Koti Mama. Now, Roshan should also become a great music director.”

Addressing the gathering, Anoop Rubens said, “Manisarma, Harris Jairaj and Rahman are my inspiration. I’m very excited to share this stage with them.”

RP Patnaik said, “Roshan has got the chance to compose the music in line with the situation with his first film. He has to compose the music not to set a trend or follow the trend or create the trend but as per the mode of the film.”

KM Radha Krishnan said, “Roshan’s music should be a bend of Saluri Rajeswara Rao and Koti’s music.”

On this occasion, KM Radha Krishnan said, “Roshan’s music should be a bend of Saluri Rajeswara Rao and Koti’s music. Roshan’s music must be a mixture of melody and trend.”

Micky J Mayer said, “I composed music for Koti’s elder son’s film. His younger son should also taste the success.”

Speaking at the event, Koti said, “I’m very happy that my son is introduced to the film industry through this film. My son is very lucky as he has blessings of so many prominent people.”

On this occasion, Roshan expressed, “I lost my grandfather when I was a kid. So many music directors turned out to this event out of their respect towards my father. I’m very happy to be introduced in the presence of so many prominent people. I consider myself lucky. Whatever heights I reach as a music director, the credit goes to my father.”
