Srikanth-Esther Noronha starrer family entertainer 'Jalsa Rayudu' which will be directed by 'Rye Rye' fame Sudheer Raju was formally launched on Friday in Hyderabad. Kolan Venkatesh is producing the film under 'Venkata Ramana Movies' banner. Bellamkonda Suresh sounded the clap board while Santhosham Suresh switched on the camera for the first shot. The muhurath scene was directed by Siddanthi Raju.
On this occasion, Srikanth said, “The film has a wonderful story. My role in the film will be very apt to the title. We are coming out with a family entertainer and we have touched the subject of wife and husband’s relations in the film. Esther is doing a wonderful role. We will complete the film as per the schedule and bring this wonderful film to the audience as early as possible.”
On this occasion, producer of the film Venkata Ramana informed the press, "'Jalsa Rayudu' is the first film which is being made under our banner. Srikanth, who is a family hero till now is all set to impress everyone. He is very supportive. We are happy that when we narrated the story line to Srikanth, he accepted immediately to work in this project. It’s a family entertainer which also has comedy elements. We are confident that the film will be going to be a good start for our banner and the audience will encourage us by making the film a big hit."
Director Sudheer Raju explained, "I’m coming with good family entertainer after ‘Rai Rai’. ’Jalsa Rayudu' title will connect to everyone. I am thankful to Srikanth for giving green signal for the project. Kolan Venkatesh is a producer with good taste and he is ready to produce the film without compromising. While Prachi Sinha and Esther have been roped in as the leading ladies, the search for the third female lead is on. Regular shooting schedule will continue from August 27th. We are planning to release the film on 6th of December. The film contains abundance of entertaining elements that will impress all sets of audience. Sensational music director Chakri is providing excellent music for the film. Many senior artists and top technicians are working in this film.”
One of the heroines Esther said, “After ‘Bheemavaram Bullodu’, I was waiting for a role which has scope for acting and importance in the film and fortunately I got this opportunity. Srikanth is a very good actor. I’m very excited to act with him. Director has narrated the story line to me beautifully.”
Prachi Sinha, Posani Krishna Murali, Babu Nayak, Jaya Prakash reddy, Chandra Mohan, Sudha, Prudvi, Hema, Satyam Rajesh, Geetanjali and some others are part of the film.
