Poorna and Geethanjali as the female leads, a horror entertainer is being made as production No.90 on Bhimavaram Talkies banner. Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana is producing the film under Sri Raj Balla’s direction with KR Phaniraj as presenter. The film was formally launched by Darsakaratna Dasari Narayana Rao garu on September 21 in the presence of some prominent people. Dasari Narayana Rao garu played the clap boy role, while prominent producer C Kalyan switched on the camera and director Relangi Narasimha Rao directed the muhurat scene which was canned on Poorna. Later, the film unit has arranged press meet.
On this occasion, Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana said, “The film ‘Avanthika’ is being made as 90th production from our banner. I am very happy that Dasari Narayana Rao garu has launched our film. We have started this venture with the cpmplete belief on director Sri Raj Balla. Poorna starrer ‘Avunu’ and ‘Raju Gaari Gadhi’ have become big hit. I am very confident that ‘Avanthika’ will join the league and will stand out as a good film in Poorna and for our banner. We are making the film by trusting the script without compromising in terms of budget. We are planning to wrap up in a single schedule of 34 days and post-production works will take another 40 days.”
Speaking at the press meet, Sri Raj Balla said, “I am thankful to Tummalapalli Rama satyanarayana garu for trusting y script and giving me this wonderful opportunity. He was very much impressed by the script. Poorna is perfectly apt to ‘Avanthika’ role. Photography has ample scope. Karna’s photography will take the film to the next level. Superstition is considered as a widespread social problem. The ritual of sacrifice has remained a great means of attaining the nearness of the Almighty since ancient times. The film is being made with the aforementioned concept. Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana is making this huge budget film with excellent casting and wonderful technical team.”

C kalyan, Relangi Narasimha Rao, presenter KR Phani Raj, executive producer Dheeraja Appaji, heoine Geethanjali, cameraman Karna Pyarasani and some others were present at the film launch event.
Poorna, Geethanjali, Sriraj, Dhanraj, Shakalaka Shankar, Mallika, Ravi, Sampath, Giridhar, Phani, Pucha Ramakrishna, Ajay Ghosh, Namala Murthy and Sivarama Krishna are playing important roles in the film.
