AK Rao-PK Rao Press Meet

Sai Venkateswara Combines' 'AK Rao-PK Rao' starring Dhanraj and Thagubotu Ramesh in the lead is set for May 17 release. The film was directed by Kotapaati Sreenu introducing Daksha Nagaarkar and Shruti Raj as heroines. A press meet was held on Thursday to announce the release date. Dhanraj, Thagubotu Ramesh, Vennela Kishore, heroine Shruti Raj, Swarna Sudhakar, Sreeram Chowdary, director Kotapaati Sreenu, cameraman Siva Kumar, Gutti Mallikarjun and other unit members participated.

Thagubotu Ramesh said, "When Dhanraj approached me with this character, I couldn't say No to it. It's one of the best characters in my career. I'm very happy with the way our characters have been designed in 'AK Rao-PK Rao'. We are releasing the film on May 17. I hope the audience will enjoy the film and make it a big hit."

Dhanraj said, "Even though this is my first film as hero, I never had that feel while doing this film because, while we use to appear in six to seven scenes in other films, 'AK Rao-PK Rao' will show us in about 60-70 scenes. Initially I was not sure whether to do this film or not when the director narrated the story to me. However, I accepted it since I was impressed with the story. There is no seperate comedy track as it's of the story. Vennela Kishore's role will entertain the audience. There are dances and fights too. I appreciate the producer for trusting us and spending a lot of money on making this film without any compromise."

"I played a small Don in 'AK Rao-PK Rao'. I wish this films to run in theaters on par with films in combination of Rajendra Prasad and Chandra Mohan," Vennela Kishore expressed.

According to director Kotapaati Sreenu, 'AK Rao-PK Rao' will thoroughly entertain the audience.
