Rey Platinum Disc Celebrations

Platinum Disc function of ‘Rey’ was held on Wednesday at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad. R Narayana Murthy presented the Platinum Discs to the film unit. Sai Dharam Tej, Saiyami Kher and Shraddha Das starrer ‘Rey’ directed and produced by YVS Chowdary on Bommarillu Vaari banner, was released worldwide on March 27, as curtain raiser for summer and is running successfully with a hit talk.

Speaking at the function, Prem Rakshith said, “We usually have fights in climax scenes. But, Chowdary garu asked me to compose song. I thought it will be a simple song. But, it has 8 min background music. Sai did dances in a very energetic way.”

Sridhar Sipana said, “I’m the big fan of Mega family. I felt very happy that I got the opportunity to pen dialogues for Sai Dharam Tej, who hails from Mega family. YVS garu insisted me to write sharp and powerful dialogues. Now, the dialogues got whistles and applause in theaters.”

Chandra Bose said, “Telugu ‘Rey’ turned into English ‘Ray’. We have kept our heart and soul for the good outcome of the film. The film is receiving god collections. I wish and hope that the film will earn more and more collections.”

“Chakri appeared in my eyes throughout the film,” said Chakri’s wife Smt. Sravani.

Speaking on the occasion, Noel said, “I’m very happy that ‘Rey’ is running successfully. My hearty thanks to Chakri, Bose garu and YVS Choudary.”

Addressing the gathering, Sai Dharam Tej said, “Chakri will remain in the hearts of music lovers through his excellent music. I pray for his soul to rest in peace.”

On this occasion, director YVS Chowdary expressed his views saying, “Chakri’s sudden demise is a major loss to me. ’Rey’ is running successfully with a super hit talk. I’m very happy that audience have recognised our effort. Especially, it impressed the mass audience and youth very well as we expected. I’ve learned from my parents to do hard work to be successful. ‘Pawanism’ song has completed the censor formality on Wednesday. The song will be released in Cube, PXD and in UFO theaters from Friday.”
