The audio of Asthram, hero Vishnu's latest film, was released on 26th May at Chiran Fort. The event, hosted by Anitha Choudary, saw Mohan Babu, Vishnu, Paruchuri Gopala Krishna, Anushka, Parvati Melton, Arti Puri, S.A Raj Kumar, Karunya, Shibani Das, Maganti Babu, K.C Sekhara Babu, C. Kalyan, Additional DG Das, Bhogavally Prasad, Manoj & Sunku Ramesh gracing the occasion. Chief guest Dasari Narayana Rao released the audio cassette.

"I have a close association with the unit of Asthram" chief guest Dasari Narayana Rao said "Mohan Babu is like my son; Suresh Krishna first worked as an assistant director for me. S.A. Raj Kumar debuted with my film Niyantha. Vishnu just needs a hit now to prove himself. Basha, has the best screenplay, in over 10 years. I am confident that Asthram will be very successful".

"This is Vishnu's first project outside our banner" a beaming Mohan Babu said "I have already watched the film and it is extraordinary. Supreme Raju has made a fabulous film".

While Suresh Kirshna said that Vishnu will surprise everybody with his performance in the film, Vishnu, himself, proclaimed that he was a huge fan of Suresh Krishna since the latter directed his father, Mohan Babu, in the film Rayalaseema Ramanna Chowdary. Music director S.A. Raj Kumar tuned in saying that each song of Asthram has a different concept.

In a different style of marketing, extra tunes were added to the film's album, wherein music lovers and enthusiast can record their voices along with tunes and send those cassettes by 9th June. A prize will be given, by Supreme Music, to the best singer.
