Later the roaring success of Aparichithudu, Vikram is appearing in Majaa with Asin and shooting of this film is currently going on at Annapurna studios in Hyderabad. This film is being directed by Shafi, who directed the Malayalam Version. He also delivered blockbusters in Malayalam and Kannada top producer Rockline Venkatesh is producing this movie on Rockline Entertainment private Ltd. The producer arranged a press meet on 22nd of Sep at Taj Residency to inform the progress of the film.

Hero Vikram Said, "I know the producer Rockline Venkatesh very well. I am very happy to work with him. This is a light action oriented and good entertainer film. My previous film 'Aparichithudu' is a serious film but this Majaa has good comedy with village back drop. The concept of the film is to enjoy the life with happiest moments. We took 80 days for shooting of this film. Good music is given by Vidya Sagar. Excellent photography is being delivered by Shivaputrudu fame Bala Subrahmanyam. Asin is a cool actress. Good technical team is working for this film".

Asin said, "I am doing the role of a village girl named Sita Lakshmi and I am thrilling to act with such a great actor Vikram."

Producer Rockline Venkatesh said, "Major part of the shooting was completed for this film and currently a song shooting is in progress at Hyderabad. Vidya Sagar has given good tunes. We are planning to release audio in Telugu and Tamil at the same time and film would be released on the eve of Deepavali.
