The trailer launch event of ‘Saamy’ was held on Saturday in Hyderabad. Vikram and Trisha starrer Saamy was a blockbuster hit in Tamil 15 years ago. After 15 years, the sequel for ‘Saamy’, titled ‘Saamy Square’ has been made. Chiyaan Vikram, who carved a special image in the hearts of audience by playing versatile roles, has played the lead role. Hari, who directed super hit films like ‘Singam’, ‘Singam 2’, ‘Singam 3’ and ‘Pooja’, has moulded this powerful action entertainer. Rock Star Devi Sri Prasad has given musical scores.
Produced by Shibu Thameens, the film has Keerthy Suresh and Aishwarya Rajesh playing the female leads. The supporting cast includes Bobby Simha, John Vijay and OAK Sundar. Bellam Ramakrishna Reddy and Kavya Venugopal are bringing the film to Telugu audience under Pushyami Film Makers and MG Aura Cinemas Pvt Ltd banners. Presently, the film is ready for censor process and the makers are planning to release the film in the third week of September.

Producer Bellam Ramakrishna Reddy said, “The trailer has shown the prowess of director Hari. Asian and Star MAA have brought the rights of ‘Saamy’. The film will have audio launch in four days.”
Producer Shibu, RR Cinemas Mahesh, KVV Satyanarayana, Durgam Girish, Sobharani, Bobby Simha and Sunil and some others were present at the event and wished the team.
