Pellante? starring Srikanth, Shalu Chourasiya, Zeba Anjum and Mamatha Chowdary in lead roles, was launched on May 20 in Hyderabad. Hero Tarun sounded the clap board, while Rajendra Kmar switched on the camera for the muhurat shot. MAA president Shivaji Raja has directed the honorary first shot. Ali Bhai is producing the film under Angel Productions and Mother and Father Pictures banners. Mainu K.Md is the director. Later, the film unit has arranged press meet.
While speaking to the media, hero Srikanth said, “It’s a family entertainer and I am doing this genre after long time. The subject is perfectly apt to me. I was very much impressed by the script and immediately accepted to act in this. Pellante? is a good entertainer which will be blended with all needed elements. Mainu K.Md has worked as a writer for many good films. I am confident that he will carve out the film wonderfully.”
Actor Ali said, “I now Mainu since long time. He has good vision. Rajendra Kumar, who worked as a writer for many films like ‘Kshemanga Velli Labhanga Randi’, is playing a wonderful role in this film. I am extremely confident that Pellante? will become big success and earn good name to the entire team.”
Speaking on the occasion, director Mainu K.Md said, “The story of Pellante? goes on in an entertaining mode from starting till the end of the film. The film will join in the league of family entertainers like ‘Pelli Sandadi’ and ‘Pellam Oorelithe’. Some scenes will make audiences cry. I wish and hope audience will encourage my attempt to present Srikanth as a family man after long time. Regular shooting will begin in June. The film will be extensively shot in Bangkok.”
One of the heroines of the film Shalu Chourasiya revealed that she will play a traditional girl. “I have been wanting to work with Srikanth garu since long time and it happened now. Pellante? is a nice subject. I am confident that Telugu people will like the story.”
Producer Ali Bhai said, “We got an amazing story and wonderful cast and crew. Pellante? will leave audience in splits for sure. Regular shooting will commence from June and the film will be extensively shot at the picturesque locations of Bangkok.”
