The moment audience and Mega fans have long been waiting for has come. The much awaited ‘Rangasthalam’ is hitting theaters worldwide on March 30. Ram Charan and Samantha as the lead cast, this prestigious film is directed by brilliant director Sukumar and produced by Yerneni Y Ravishankar and Mohan (CVM) on Mythri Movie Makers. Devi Sri Prasad has given musical scores. On the eve of film’s release, the makers have arranged a press meet at the sets of Rangasthalam. Director Sukumar, producers Yerneni Y Ravishankar and Mohan (CVM), Anasuya Bharadwaj, senior actor Naresh, Kadambari Kiran, Jabardasth Seshu and Baby Honey were present at the press meet.
Speaking at the press meet, producer Yerneni Y Ravishankar said, “The film ‘Rangasthalam’ will be released worldwide in a grand level in 1700 theaters on March. Right from the teaser to trailer, the film has created high expectations among audience. Songs composed by Devi Sri Prasad stood as big assets to the film. Censor board members praising the film saying it’s extraordinary. Media personnel has given lot of support for gaining hype on the film. We are extremely confident that the film will be up to everyone’s expectations. We are thankful to the director Sukumar garu for making a wonderful film like ‘Rangasthalam’ on our banner. Thanks to Ram Charan garu for having given us the opportunity to produce this film. Charan’s performance will be in peaks. We are very excited and eagerly awaiting audience response.”
Brilliant director Sukumar said, “We have designed ‘Rangasthalam’ village set to suit for 1980 era. Ramakrishna, set department and my direction department and each and everyone in the team have did very hard work and given lot of support. Mythri Movies’ producers are the main reason for the good outcome of the film. They have provided everything without compromising in terms of quality or subject or in any aspect. They have supported us by providing big artists. Naresh garu has given fantastic performance. Chiranjeevi garu watched the film and praised Naresh’s acting. He asked us to proceed with 2 hours 50 min duration without making cuts. His words have boosted our confidence levels. We auditioned several other artists for Anasuya’s character and finally selected Anasuya. Anasuya has given 100% justice to Rangammatta character. Naresh, Rohini and Kadambari and all artists have acted wonderfully. Devi Sri Prasad has praised each and every artist’s performance while doing RR. There is no separate track for comedy. You will find comedy in the characters itself. What I request everyone is come to theaters as a plain paper without any expectations and enjoy the film. I am sure the film will give you a great feel.”
On this occasion, Anasuya said, “Ram Charan is one of my favourite actors. I am so thrilled that I played Rangammatta to him. Senior Naresh said, “At present, Tollywood is in golden era. Telugu film industry is in good form with two to three super hit per year. Rangasthalam will stand out as a memorable film in the industry. Rangasthalam has the best screenplay mong all other films which Sukumar garu has done so far. I have worked for 30 days for this film. He has designed a wonderful character for me. He has presented Ram Charan in a different way. You find tremendous feel in the film. I was spellbound seeing Ram Charan’s performance. I wish Charan will receive national award for his performance in this film. Rangasthalam will stand out as a wonderful film for Mythri Movies banner and forever in the Telugu cinema History. I can confidently say that 2018 is the best makeover year for me.”
