
“Pawa pawa pawa Pawan Kalyan, pawa pawa pawa Pawan Kalyan”…  This is the hook line of the power song, an exclusive tribute to the  power star 'Pawan Kalyan', from his most ardent and self declared fan  Baba Sehgal.
Inspired by what his fans call ‘Pawanism’, Baba Sehgal  dedicates the ‘Power Song’ to the millions of Pawan Kalyan fans. Telugu  film audiences love the power star for his humility and positive energy  and admittedly, the lyrics of the song are based on the charisma and  ideologies of the matinee idol.
Lucknow-born Baba Sehgal, one of indipop’s  highest selling artiste, ruled the 90s with his brand of pop-rap. He  also acted in a few films and popular TV shows. He has produced over 22  music albums after the success of his hit first album ‘Thanda Thanda  Pani’. Baba Sehgal writes, composes and sings for his albums. He is also referred to as the ‘King of Rap’ in India.
His foray into Telugu playback began with the song Chik Chik  Chiklette for Chiranjeevi starrer ‘Rikshavadu’. As a playback singer in  south Indian films, especially Telugu, Tamil and Kannada, Baba has sung  over 90 songs for all the major stars in the south. Some of the instant  hits in Telugu include Jalsa, Aarya 2, Adhurs, Don Seenu, Singham and  Gabbar Singh. His most recent hit, the title song of Gabbar Singh has  became one of his most popular songs.
After the success of the Gabbar Singh title song, Baba Sehgal  fans have lovingly labeled him as the power singer. Baba celebrates a  golden period of his film songs in south Indian cinema, and the Power  Song is his way of sharing his gratitude to all his music lovers. “Like  for me, Pawan Kalyan has been an inspiration to many of his fans, and  on the eve of his birthday, it is my pleasure to dedicate this song to  the Power Star,” says Baba.
